Meet Kassa-Leigh Ana Williams.
She is the main character in my novel, "Hooked Forever." This book starts out when Kassa-Leigh is seven years old. Her daddy had just died of a heart attack, and her mommy doesn't know how to handle the loss. The story goes on to show the struggles of single parenting, and eventually neglect and abuse of a little girl. This young beauty finally runs away, and meets Nikka, a girl her age. Together, they start a life at a modern brothel. But, God has other plans for Kassa-Leigh and Nikka, and they discover the love of strangers, friends they never knew they had, and the love of God.

I was just thinking about what I plan on doing this summer. The most important thing is STAY COOL. I hate being hot. I love the sun, but seriously? Does it have to get so stinking hot? I sweat . . . err, glisten . . . real easily, so I don't like being hot. I don't have air conditioning in my apartment, though I do have one fan that I am already using. Aw well. I guess I can't always have my way, eh? (I know, but I had to say it. I'm Canadian, eh?) Anyways, here's a few goals of mine this summer: (1) read more - - - I would like to read a lot more books. I have about 300 books on my Kobo, plus about 50 physical copies I haven't read, yet. Not to mention, all the books I want to reread. Whew! Yep, that's definitely a goal of mine. (2) write 20 000 words of "Hooked Forever" - - - I want to write this during the summer. I would love to write more than that, but, you know? (3) Babysit more - - - I love to look after children and I intend to...

ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion, I love the blog colors but they are a little hard to read, a white background would make it easier. But it's just a suggestion! I don't mean to tell you what to do...

Thanks for your input, Anna! I have now changed it to what I think it will be from now on. I will be posting a bit of my book in a few days, so stay tuned! I'm actually rewriting it, again, again. Lol. So, I'm still on the first chapter. I know I have never been a Beta reader, before, but I would love the experience, so if you pick me, I will definitely do my very best and be devoted to you and your book. Even if you don't pick me, I would love to read it someday!
